Joey Hoffman is a dedicated personal injury attorney serving clients throughout Missouri and Illinois. A lifelong St. Louis native, Joey brings a deep connection to the community and a results driven approach to every case he handles.

Joey was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where he attended Parkway Central High School. In 2007, he was honored as a Scholar Athlete by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He went on to attend Arkansas State University on a baseball scholarship before earning his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Missouri in 2011. Joey continued at the University of Missouri School of Law, graduating in 2014 and earning Dean’s List recognition throughout his academic career.

Before joining NGK, Joey spent nearly a decade representing insurance companies and large corporations, including numerous Fortune 50 companies, in high-stakes litigation. He defended cases involving wrongful death, commercial trucking accidents, premises liability, sexual assault, catastrophic personal injury, workplace claims such as discrimination and harassment, medical malpractice, and product liability.

This background gives Joey a distinct advantage as a personal injury attorney. Having worked inside the insurance defense industry, he understands how insurers evaluate claims, minimize payouts, and litigate cases. He now uses that insider knowledge to advocate aggressively for injured individuals and their families, helping them navigate complex claims and pursue the full compensation they deserve.

Joey is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois.

In addition to his legal practice, Joey is committed to giving back to the St. Louis community. He volunteers with Hilljack House, supporting its mission to serve individuals in need, and is actively involved in coaching youth soccer and baseball, investing in the development and mentorship of young athletes.

He lives in St. Louis with his wife, Alex, and their two children, Luke and Riley. Outside the office, Joey enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and being outdoors.
